Fans Think Hayden Panettiere Was Being Exploited In Emotional New Interview!

Hayden Panettiere People Interview Fans Concerned

This is just so sad to see…

In a brand new People interview on Wednesday, Hayden Panettiere opened up like never before. She got real about the absolutely tragic, sudden death of her brother Jansen — which left her reeling and out of control. She also opened up about being a mom, speaking fondly about her 9-year-old daughter Kaya Evdokia Klitschko. It was great to hear from the actress again after so much went on in her personal life. But sadly, a lot of concerned fans think this was just an exploitative scheme…

A clip of the interview, which the outlet posted to their Instagram, showed the Bring It On: All or Nothing star front-and-center, chatting away about the birth of Kaya. It’s the way she moved and spoke, though, that had commenters worried. She seemed to be struggling to articulate herself and slurring her words, as well as having a glazed look in her eyes.

See the clip for yourself (below):

She looks so tired… and so sad.

The comments were up in arms about this clip — which even reminded some people of Anna Nicole Smith‘s interviews amid her bouts with addiction and substance abuse. Here’s a sample of the outcry:

“Who ever is responsible for posting this should be questioned immediately”

“There should be a law against doing interviews and also posting videos of a public figure OBVIOUSLY under the influence of something OR just not doing well. Shame. Reminds me of Anna Nicole….”

“Feels like someone is capitalizing on addiction, this should not have been posted”

“This interview should be removed asap!!”

“Who the f**k thought it was a good idea to exploit someone like this?! DO BETTER!!!”

“@people this should have never been posted. You can clearly see something is wrong. Maybe delete your post instead of people’s comments.”

“This is not okay! Come on, @people … capitalizing on someone struggling? NOPE.”

The outlet has yet to delete the interview or respond to the barrage of fans in their replies, and has also left the full interview up on YouTube. The full-length sit-down just shows more of Hayden’s concerning behavior:

A rep for the actress did reach out to PageSix, however, and said it was just an “emotional” moment. They made clear the star had NOT relapsed, as some worried:

“Speaking about her brother for the first time was very emotional for her — and it had been a long and exhausting day for her. She was not under the influence.”

Another insider told the outlet she “fully cooperated” and her team “was on set for the duration of the shoot”.
