Heroes star Hayden Panettiere may be dancing beside Gossip Girl‘s Chace Crawford in the upcoming remake of the 80’s classic Footloose!
Word is Panettiere flexed her vocal pipes for the filmmakers and managed to wow them with her singing!
“No one realized what a good singer she is,” an inside source said of Hayden’s audition for the role of Ariel Moore.
Panettiere is up against Dancing With The Stars Julianne Hough for the lead, but if Hayden nails the dancing callback and read-through with Chace, we assume she’ll land the part!
Speaking of Crawford, although he has not been officially named as playing Ren McCormack in the musical flick, according to sources it’s “pretty much a done deal.”
Could Chace and Hayden re-create the same movie magic Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer did the first time around??
