Hervé Léger DEFINITELY made the right decision!
On Tuesday, the fashion house fired its exec and bandage dress designer Patrick Couderc after he made disgusting and seriously offensive comments against women.
In fact, the company even slammed Patrick on Twitter in addition to their scathing official statement!

In response to Couderc’s comments that “committed lesbians”, “voluptuous”, “flat chested”, and “prominently hipped” women shouldn’t be wearing his iconic dresses, the fashion house responded:
“The Herve Leger by Max Azria brand and its parent company, BCBGMAXAZRIA Group, are shocked and appalled by Patrick Couderc’s comments made in the Mail on Sunday. BCBGMAXAZRIA Group is working in concert with MJH Fashion, the London-based licensee of the Herve Leger brand, to investigate and establish appropriate next steps. The statements made by Mr. Couderc are not a reflection of Herve Leger by Max Azria or MJH Fashion ideals or sentiments. The Herve Leger by Max Azria brand celebrates sensuality, glamour and femininity without discrimination.”
And:
Outraged and appalled by Mr. Couderc’s offensive comments. Herve Leger celebrates sensuality, glamour & femininity without discrimination.

Well said! It’s one thing to have a target demographic, but it’s another to outright discriminate against someone’s sexuality and size!
Patrick has since deleted his Twitter account amidst the scandal and downright outrage over his gross comments. We imagine the backlash won’t die down anytime soon!
