Interesting choice.
Honestly, we would have thought NBC would have picked Jay Leno! But maybe it wasn’t their call.
Ricky Gervais will be our esteemed host for this year’s Golden Globes ceremonies. The Brit comedian is no stranger to the award show, but he will be the first host that the show has had since 1995. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is “delighted” to have him, but for NBC’s ratings sake, lets hope America feels the same way.
The show will air on January 17 from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and nominations will be announced on Dec. 15
A piece of advice: We’d recommend straying away from the Holocaust jokes this time around, Ricky. Just a thought.
