Bros before gloating about a trip to states!
A high school baseball game in Minnesota ended with a tender embrace over the weekend after pitcher Ty Koehn struck out Jack Kocon to win the game.
The strikeout clinched the team’s victory and solidified their spot at the state championships. But Koehn wasn’t ready to celebrate just yet — he first had to give Kocon, a childhood friend of his, a big ‘ol hug!

The pitcher explained to Bring Me The News:
“I knew him from all the way back when we were 13. We were on the same little league team… Our friendship is more important than just the silly outcome of a game. I had to make sure he knew that before we celebrated.”
No harm, no foul! See the heartwarming moment (below).
This high school pitcher held off celebrating with his teammates so he could console his childhood friend instead.
