We’re loving everything about all this great Lizzie McGuire revival news!
Hilary Duff spoke with the folks over at E! News this week about her upcoming role in the Disney+ revival of the iconic old Disney Channel show, and from what it sounds like, there is sooooo much to look forward to in the new and improved world of Lizzie and her now-adult friends!

The 32-year-old TV and film star most notably opened up about her iconic character’s love interests — confirming that while Gordo (played by actor Adam Lamberg) is NOT in the picture, the legendary, unforgettable Ethan Craft (played by Clayton Snyder) is a possible romantic point for all-grown-up Lizzie! OMG!!!
Duff dished on adult version of the shaggy-haired hunk (below):
“He is hot. He’s very hot. I’m pretty sure there’s going to be… there’s going to be a thing.”
Can’t. Stop. Swooning.
LOLz!!!
Of course, Duff also relayed the fact that Lizzie apparently “has an awesome boyfriend,” in the revival, and “they’ve been together for two years, so everything’s looking pretty promising for her.” Hmmm… so where does Ethan come into play with that one?! Or… wait… is Ethan the two-year boyfriend?? Could he be?!?!
Who knows… point is, we’ll have to watch and find out! And that won’t be a problem for us!! Something tells us watching Lizzie as a 30-year-old doin’ her thing in NYC will make for the perfect revival tour!

The Younger star detailed more about the show’s return, as well, offering up some thoughts about the “fun, new version” of Lizzie as a 30-year-old New Yorker (below):
“She’s a little less frantic and a little more confident. She has some years of life under her belt. There’s that relatability that I think that everyone loves in her. She is going to be coming across some challenges that the show is gonna serve up and a lot of what people want to see or the answers to questions that they never got.”
Ooooh!
No matter what happens with this revival, we seriously can’t wait to kick things off and see how life turned out for Lizzie and all of her friends. From the sound of it here, too, there’s going to be quite a lot to take in. And we’re here for it!
