In case you missed it, Hilary Duff and her partner Matthew Koma officially tied the knot this weekend in a private, backyard ceremony at their home — and we couldn’t be happier for the gorgeous couple!
On Sunday night, one day after their nuptials went down, the bride and groom shared more details about the sweet affair and gave us our first look at their stunning wedding photos!

Without further ado, say hello to the new Mr. and Mrs. Koma in the magical shot, (below):
Wow, how beautiful!!
In the professional shot (above), the Younger actress and 32-year-old music producer pose in front of a vintage Jeep Wagoneer decked out in flowers, tin cans, and a “just married” sign written across the back window. Hilary kept it short and sweet in her caption, simply writing, “this.” Meanwhile, Matthew shared the same exact photo to his Instagram account and captioned it with their wedding date:
“For the rest of forever… 12.21.19”
Love it! But, of course, we NEED to switch gears and talk about the dress!
Duff sported a custom-made Jenny Packham gown for the ceremony and its unique details really stole the show! As you can see, it has bold pointy shoulders and none of the frilly lace we’re so accustomed to seeing on bridal ensembles. Then, there are those long cape-like sleeves and open back detail that really brings a modern, chic touch to the whole look.
In a behind-the-scenes video that documented the special day, Packham opened up to Vogue about creating the momma-of-two’s dream dress:
“I want Hilary to feel, how I think she wanted to feel in this dress from the direction that we had which is very modern and it’s quite a bold look. And more than anything I wanted her to feel immensely confident in it, and it’s a very confident look.”
Speaking to their collaborative process, Hilary added:
“I love it. I feel … I feel really comfortable, and I feel like it’s everything that I’ve dreamed of. The shoulders are so exciting to me. It’s really what I wanted. It has structure, but it’s clean and simple.”
On how her hubby influenced their design, she said:
“Matthew is very simple, and I really wanted to honor that. I really want to feel like myself, but also how I envisioned he would see me. The end result of what we came up with, with Jenny, is exactly how I wanted him to see me. I think it’s how he would envision what I would look like as a bride. It’s really special.”

As our readers know, the happy couple welcomed their daughter Banks Violet Bair back in October 2018 and Duff is also mom to seven-year-old son Luca Cruz, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie. With this wedding in the books, they’re all officially a family of four!
