Honey Boo Boo is definitely getting her merit badge in social networking!
Former pageant queen and current redneck reality icon Alana Thompson is using her fame- and her Facebook account- to sell Girl Scout cookies!
She posted this ad on Facebook along with all the info you’d need to buy as many boxes as you could handle! Which is a LOT when it comes to the delicious confections!
But hey! All the other Girl Scouts have to stand in front of grocery stores or go door-to-door! Is using your 700,000 Facebook fans cheating?
To be fair, Girl Scout cookies pretty much sell themselves! Especially Samoas… Mm, Samoas…

UPDATE: Not everyone is happy with Honey Boo Boo’s selling methods. Especially since she’s not even a scout herself- she’s just selling for a friend!
The Girl Scouts of America have made Alana and Mama June Shannon take down their Facebook ad, saying it was unfair to other sellers.
Mama June has responded:
“If I can raise more money for a troop, whoever they are, especially in an area where they don├óΓé¼Γäót get a lot of money, and parents can├óΓé¼Γäót afford to buy a ton of cookies, why wouldn’t I help?”
June says they will continue to sell cookies as long as they can. So far they’ve reportedly sold over 400 boxes!
