We’re fairly certain Honey Boo Boo was making a joke, but considering the circumstances it’s all just so… sad.
The reality TV star, whose real name is Alana Thompson, was keeping fans entertained during a Facebook Live chat on Thursday.
Makes sense — she and big sis (and lately caretaker) Pumpkin have to keep the family business going, right?
After Mama June Thompson‘s arrest for crack cocaine possession in March, we’re guessing her show Mama June: From Hot To Not isn’t going to be renewed.

And it was rumored last month Alana and Pumpkin might be getting their own spinoff of the now defunct Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
But Alana’s sense of humor crossed a line for Pumpkin on Thursday’s stream. A white line.
HBB got impatient waiting for her big sis to read fan submitted questions for her to answer and yelled:
“Tell me what’s f**king next right now!”
She then went full diva caricature and said she needed to take a break real quick — as she dragged a kitchen knife across the table in quick cuts, as though she was forming a line of cocaine.
Then she put her finger to her nose and dove at the empty table, pretending to snort.
The older, wiser 19-year-old immediately understood the potential consequences of her sister’s bit and yelled:
“Alana, quit f**king doing- don’t even f**king mimic that on f**king live! Don’t ever do that again!”
To which Alana yelled in mock innocence:
“What?!?”
Y’all, she knows what. She must.
With her mom’s drug problem news being amplified by their reality TV stardom, even a 13-year-old must know people on the Internet will assume the worst.
Many will ask if she’s doing what she saw her mother do, in person — instead of mimicking something she’s seen in movies and TV, which has kind of always been her thing.
No wonder Pumpkin is pissed. Alana is young, but she needs to learn when it’s appropriate to joke about that kind of thing. (Which, when your mom is in the middle of a real — and real dangerous — drug problem, is probably never.)
Speaking of learning, Alana will have plenty of opportunity to do that now.

Honey Boo Boo started high school on Thursday!
Pumpkin took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce her formerly homeschooled sister was starting public high school:
“Well everyone my little sister/ daughter is going to be a freshman in high school starting tomorrow morning??. Where has the time gone? So excited to be going through this big adventure with you ❤️❤️ love you bunches Atlanta ? @honeybooboo”
That is WILD!
She’ll always be that cray little pageant girl to us!
