Shadow environment secretary Mary Creagh told the House of Commons in British Parliament that horses may be getting smuggled and sold as meat.

Investigators believe criminal traders have taken 70.000 horses deemed as “unwanted” and they are forging passports and microchips to do so.
Horses contain bute, a veterinary drug that can cause blood disorders in humans when taken in large quantities.
Scary…let’s hope no more horses end up in meat….
