Boy, those How I Met Your Mother fans are angry. Really, REALLY angry.
Not only did they voice their unhappiness over the series finale via social media outlets, they’re also claiming the writers of the hit series destroyed nine years of character development in just 40 minutes!
That’s a little harsh guys!
Someone by the username of ‘Gossip Girl’ created a petition on the Change.org site to CBS, imploring the network to rewrite and reshoot the HIMYM ending.
They let the name of the petition speak for itself and wrote:
You know it’s just wrong.
LOLz! These fans aren’t playing around!
So far they’ve reached 9,000 followers so far and just need a few hundred more to reach 10k!
But will a petition be enough to get the ending to be redone?! Carter Bays and Craig Thomas have spoken out about the controversy, maybe this could persuade them otherwise??
If you thought the series finale of HIMYM was bad, think of how fans reacted to these other series with frustrating endings!
