Hugh Jackman says that Wolverine 2 is going to be “fantastic,” so if you weren’t pump for it already, now is the time to get on board.
The sequel to the wildly successful pre-quel to the X-Men trilogy is said to be beginning production next year, but the Wolverine himself as seen the script and has spoken with the director, Darren Aronofsky. Hugh is looking forward to an X movie that’s a bit darker than it’s predecessors. He explains:
“This is, hopefully for me, going to be out of the box. It├óΓé¼Γäós going to be the best one, I hope. Well, I would say that, but I really do feel that, and I feel this is going to be very different…But, you know, this is a change of pace. Chris McQuarrie, who wrote The Usual Suspects, has written the script, so that├óΓé¼Γäóll give you a good clue. [Aronofsky├óΓé¼Γäós] going to make it fantastic. There├óΓé¼Γäós going to be some meat on the bones. There will be something to think about as you leave the theater, for sure.├óΓé¼┬¥
Interesting! Superhero movies don’t tend to inflict existential thoughts!
We don’t care, as long as there is a good chunk of this movie that finds Wolverine fighting evil without a shirt on, we’re cool!
How about U? Are you looking forward more to Wolverine 2 or X-Men: First Class?
