The director of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Francis Lawrence, gave us some great news!
Down with the Capitol! Down with the Capitol! Down with the Capitol!
According to him, Part 1 and Part 2 will be “two different, very distinct stories.”
In addition, the first part will have some great battles, and will feature some scenes not seen in the books:
├óΓé¼┼ôThere├óΓé¼Γäós definitely some battles. There├óΓé¼Γäós some of the first glimpses of real war in this movie. And the scale gets quite big. There├óΓé¼Γäós an atonal shift from some of the last movies, but they├óΓé¼Γäóre still very emotional, very sweeping, [on a] grand scale with some levity and humor…Instead of changing the plot and changing characters what we did was have the opportunity to show scenes that could have been happening at different times in the book. For us it├óΓé¼Γäós world expansion instead of changing things. I think it├óΓé¼Γäós exciting for the fan to see certain things. So we├óΓé¼Γäóve been able to open the world up in this and see some new places. We get to see some new districts this time and the scope gets quite large.├óΓé¼┬¥
New districts? Battles?! Will all of our dreams be coming true in these future films?
We’re so excited to see Parts 1 and 2! In fact, Part 1 comes out November 21st, 2014!
While you wait for November to roll around, ch-ch-check out some of the movie posters for Mockingjay: Part 1 HERE!
