Why was the Peeta scene taken out in the first place?!
Lionsgate sent the Hunger Games fandom into a bit of a frenzy when they revealed information about a deleted scene from Mockingjay — Part 1.
Like, literally, they sent all the fans on some crazy wild goose chase for this video, but the reward was obviously worth it!

In this deleted scene we FINALLY get to see Peeta outside of the terrible interviews he did and pleas he made to Katniss and the people of Panem on behalf of the Capitol in the movie and it’s pretty intense.
Especially the very end, when President Snow tells Peeta he’s not asking the former Hunger Games winner to be the Capitol’s voice of reason. Yikes.

Another deleted scene that was released is a little less intense but still a cool moment to sneak a peek at.
It’s an intimate little moment, where Effie is giving Katniss a makeover. Wait… whaaa??
