Ian Somerhalder Distracts Himself From Breakup With Work! Filming His New Movie The Anomaly!

The Vampire Diaries may be on summer hiatus, but this smoldering Salvatore still has work to do!
Ian Somerhalder is putting his relationship behind him — until the CW season picks up, that is — and throwing himself into work. The actor has officially begun filming his upcoming movie, The Anomaly. Also starring Luke Hemsworth and Brian Cox, the action thriller follows an ex-soldier and kidnapped boy through a global terrorism nightmare.
We’re glad to see Ian keeping busy. We know Nina Dobrev is, too.
Though, we’re even more stoked to see Ian transition from small to big screen! We├óΓé¼Γäóve always had high hopes for this one!!
