Iggy Azalea may have good hair, but don’t EVER call her “Becky”!
The Aussie rapper has had a contentious relationship with the hip-hop community over the past few years, but now it looks like she’s taking a stand on hip-hop slang that she finds offensive — and she has Beyonc├â┬⌐ in her crosshairs!
On Monday, the Work songstress blasted a much-discussed lyric from Bey’s new track Sorry, noting the name Becky is a “racist” term used to describe a generic white girl.

Fans have already dissected this hotly-debated Lemonade lyric, which many believe confirms Jay Z cheated on the music legend:
“He only want me when I’m not there / He better call Becky with the good hair.”
And while this very line was enough to send the Beyhive on a witch hunt to find out Becky’s identity, Azalea was more concerned with the derogatory use of the term, posting on Twitter:
@iggys_bitch dont ever call me a becky.

Learning from experience, Iggy was prepared for the hoard of Twitics who fondly remembered even she used the term Becky in her 2012 song I Think She Ready:
@phagmob @iggys_bitch it was used as a play on brain and brian. you would not be down if i started calling all black men “deshawns”

And that was just the first of MANY clap backs!
Do YOU think the term “Becky” is racist? Read the rest of Iggy’s tweets (below)!
