Artist Attacked For Exhibiting Gay Artwork

This is terrible!
Indian artist Balbir Krishan was attacked by an unidentified assailant during one of his exhibitions portraying gay artwork.
In the video (above), you can see someone wearing a handkerchief covering his face enter the room, ruin one of the paintings, then attack Krishan from behind.
Krishan is a double amputee who lost both his legs in a 1996 train accident. He now has artificial limbs.
He describes what happened:

“I was outside the hall talking to people and suddenly realized that there was someone behind me. Before I could turn back that person hit me on my head.
I have not portrayed homosexuality before, but I have painted male figures. Since I support homosexuality, this work was personal for me. However, I never expected such a reaction.”

Unfortunately, the attacker got away, but there was a complaint filed with police and Krishan received a medical examination.
The paintings have since been removed from the venue.
So sad and heartless.
Watch the beginning of the attack (above). We warn you, it is violent.
