We love seeing a little extra skin as much as the next person, but there’s definitely a time and a place for it.
This is neither one of those times nor one of those places.
In the past couple of weeks, we’ve seen tons of celebs and politicians alike get involved in the #BringBackOurGirls movement in response to the 200 school girls who were recently kidnapped in Nigeria.
Well Irina Shayk decided to also get involved by posting her very own selfie to Instagram and Facebook, but she faced TONS of criticism for her decision to do it topless!
The model’s followers immediately called her out and said she was being ignorant and making the situation all about herself by posing topless!
Of course, we love Irina and know she has an amazingly beautiful body, but it does feel like she’s shifted the focus away from the real issue here, which is getting these girls back with their families!
