Miley Cyrus is in the midst of creating a new image of herself. This new “edgy” look involves a wardrobe full of hot pants and shorty shorts.
You might not like. MileyBird doesn’t care.
Though critics are giving her a lot of hate for dressing so provocatively these days, Miley refuses to be anything but herself, no matter how slutty that might be! In a new interview, she explains:
“I’m not trying to be ‘slutty.’ I’m not trying to be like, go to the club and get a bunch of guys … What I’m trying to do is to make a point with my record and look consistent, in the way my record sounds and the way I dress.”
So your record is going to sound like the trashier end of a Hot Topic store? That’s cool, we guess.
Miley also wants people to realize that the girl they knew as Hannah Montana is gone and this is the girl who is left, someone who is comfortable in her own skin and has no problem showing you as much of it as possible.
“I’m really comfortable with my body, I work really hard to be fit and to know that I can wear whatever makes me most comfortable. I feel more comfortable dressing with a little less, which is just how I’ve always been. Now I’m able to do that a little more freely and, also, I’ve just grown up to be this way too. It’s not like this was me five years ago. It’s me now, presently.”
Um, Brit-Brit flashbacks anyone? Should we just Fed-Ex Miley an electric shaver and the rates to some chapels in Vegas?
