Jack Nicholson is in talks to join the cast of James L. Brooks’ latest romantic comedy starring Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson.
The film follows Witherspoon who plays a professional softball player torn between two men, the good guy (Rudd) and a charming fastball pitcher (Wilson).
Bill Murray was rumored to take the role of the father but Jack has become seriously interested in reuniting with Brooks.
He should be!
Nicholson’s Oscar-winning performances in Terms of Endearment and As Good As It Gets were results from collaborations with the writer/director.
Jack should do it!
The last time we saw him on screen was at a Laker game!
