Jack White Is Composing The Music For Disney's Lone Ranger Remake

Jack White composing Lone Ranger score
The upcoming Lone Ranger remake starring Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp just got infinitely cooler.
Executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed that he’s selected none other than Jack White to score film!
The former White Stripes singer will write, produce and perform all of the original music that is featured and the producers are excited to hear what he comes up with, as Bruckheimer said:

“Jack’s an amazing songwriter with a unique style. We’re thrilled to hear his fresh take on the William Tell Overture. Gore [Verbinski, director] hatched the idea and Johnny was thrilled with it. We’re all very excited to have him on board.”

This isn’t Jack’s first collaboration with Hollywood. He’s written over a dozen songs that have appeared in films, but perhaps most famously produced Another Way To Die for the opening sequence in the last James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace.
Jack hasn’t let us down yet so we’re very excited to see what kind of musical flare he will add to Disney’s upcoming western!
