In the beginning of the clip, Will Smith‘s wife opened up about her past “porn addiction.”
The 47-year-old explained:

“If I was still on my porn game, I’d be able to show you some good porn… Back in the day I had a little porn addiction, but I wasn’t in a relationship when I had a porn addiction, believe it or not, thank goodness.”

However, the Girls Trip star later elaborated on her previous statements.

“We’re here to talk about the effects of pornography on relationships… This is an interesting one, and I actually feel like I was using ‘addiction’ a little lightly. And maybe I’ll say now that I had an unhealthy relationship to porn at one point in my life where I was trying to practice abstinence.'”

When Willow asked her mom if she thinks her “fixation” on erotica came from an “emotional” place, Jada said it did, explaining:

“It was actually like filling an emptiness, at least you think it is… But it’s actually not.”

In July of last year, Mrs. Smith revealed she dealt with “several” addictions in her life, including sex.
She said on her Facebook series:

“My sort of addictions jump. They jump around… When I was younger, I definitely think I had a sex addiction of some kind, yes, that everything could be fixed by sex. You know what I’m saying?”

The thespian also said there were periods in her life where she was dependent on exercise, as well as alcohol.

“I remember reaching a rock bottom that time I was in the house by myself and I had those two bottles of wine and was going for the third bottle… And I was like, ‘Now hold up. You’re in the this house by yourself going onto your third bottle of wine? You might have a problem.'”

She continued:

“So I went cold turkey. That’s the thing about me: I can go cold turkey. I am a binger, and I always have to watch myself and I can just get obsessed with things. It’s not what you’re doing but how you’re with it. Why you’re doing it. It’s the behavior that’s attached to it because if you want to have a lot of sex, that’s great, but why are you having all that sex? That’s what you’ve got to look at.”

Back in May, the Baltimore-native admitted she “went through kind of an addiction” with sex toys, revealing:

“I’ve had a lot of experience with sex toys — lots… I don’t think I used toys with a partner, but I did use toys a lot alone. I gave myself multiples first. Multiple orgasms. I was really into it at one point. Just because I was in an exploration state and I was abstaining from men. I actually think like I went through kind of an addiction too with it. One day I was like, enough, I was having like five orgasms a day. You can create so much pleasure, you just constantly want it.”

In response, Willow commented:

“That’s some next level, right there.”

At least she can get real with her daughter! Not everyone would feel so comfortable.
