Jade Goody‘s tragic – and all too short – battle with cancer came to an end this past weekend. And since then, news has slowly been leaking about her funeral ceremony and burial plans.
The British reality TV star’s mom, Jackiey Budden, visited with some funeral directors yesterday morning to prepare Jade’s body for the funeral, which will take place on April 4th.
She apparently spent the day dressing Jade for the ceremony. Goody will be wearing her wedding gown, which she wore to her nuptials earlier this year, when she is buried.
Her mom revealed, “I was in London today dressing my daughter in her wedding dress. I went to see Jade this morning. She looked so beautiful. She’s wearing her wedding dress. She looked like sleeping beauty.”
Jade will also be wearing her wedding ring during the ceremony and will be buried with it, along with photos of her two kids that she chose before passing away.
As for her new husband, Jack, he’ll luckily be attending the funeral. He was scheduled to be in court today for assaulting a taxi driver, but it was pushed back until April 16.
And as for the funeral, it was apparently all planned by Jade before she passed. Her publicist, Max Clifford said “Jade wanted a celebration of her life. It will be very much a Jade Goody Production with Jade doing her own thing her own way.”
A family friend adds that “Jade gave Jackiey and Jack a detailed list of things to do. In some ways she is organising this from beyond the grave.”
