It’s been a crazyass couple of days for Jake Owen.
The 30-year-old country singer partied SO hard this past weekend, cops in his hometown of Vero Beach had to detain him.
After being released from custody, Jake announced via Twitter:
“I embarrassed myself and my family and most importantly the great people of my hometown.”
Naturally, being publicly drunk and taken in by the cops wasn’t gonna stop Jake from canceling his wedding plans! That’s right, Monday morning, after a one-month engagement to model Lacey Buchanan, the musician tied the knot on the beach!
Again, the not-so-private groom tweeted:
“A best friend for life. I now have a wifey 🙂 my face hurts from smiling. What a wonderful way to start the rest of my life.”
Aw!! So much sweetness!!
We just hope Jake doesn’t pAAArty himself back into detainment tonight! LOL!
