James Corden's Virtual 'Pet Gala' Is So Purrfect You Won't Even Miss The Real Red Carpet!

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the first Monday in May came and passed us by without all of the pomp and circumstance that’s usually reserved for the iconic Met Gala.

Luckily for us, James Corden stepped up to fill that giant hole in our fashion-loving hearts with his very own “Pet Gala” and yes, it’s exactly what you’d imagine! Adorable furry friends rocking paw-sitively purrfect looks!

Red carpet correspondent Brad Goreski joined The Late Late Show host as they judged video submissions from all around the world, which featured animals of all kinds dressed in creative outfits to fit this year’s theme, “About Time: Fashion and Duration.” Watch out Anna Wintour, because these cuties did not disappoint!

There were traditional red carpet staples like pearls, feathers, and sequins as well as show-stopping elements like tiaras, clock headpieces, and elaborate trains. One adorable pup even had themselves a Lady GaGa moment that’s sure to bring a smile to your face. The A-listers of the pet community came dressed to impress and it’s honestly some of the best quarantine content we’ve seen to date!
