It sounds like the alleged domestic violence situation between James Kennedy and Ally Lewber was not a “misunderstanding,” as he may want us all to believe.
Hours after “causing a huge scene” with his “erratic” behavior at Kathy Hilton’s annual holiday party on Tuesday night, the 32-year-old reality star allegedly got into an argument with a woman and grabbed her at one point. A source told Us Weekly on Friday that his “neighbor was outside and heard them fighting and called the police.” When law enforcement arrived at the home in Burbank, California, they did not see visible injuries on the woman but arrested James anyway for misdemeanor domestic violence.

While the woman’s name has not been released yet, the Us Weekly insider confirmed the DJ was fighting with Ally. They also claimed the whole situation was “a complete misunderstanding.” Yeah, they are trying to say the neighbor overrated the situation! However, we have new details about an alleged domestic violence incident from a police report that suggests the person wasn’t!
According to a Burbank Police Daily Arrest Log, an officer made contact with the Vanderpump Rules star and the woman inside the residence on Tuesday night. While talking to the cop, she “stated her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground.”

This situation was a lot more violent than we initially thought. Per the report, James was taken into custody for misdemeanor domestic battery upon spouse/co-habitant. He has since been released from jail on $20,000 bond. The Bravo star also spoke out about the arrest via his attorneys, saying he hopes the Burbank City Attorney’s Office won’t “file formal charges.” Hmm. We do not know what prosecutors will decide to do. However, the Us insider said Ally does not plan to move forward with charges. She doesn’t even appear to be breaking up with him! They were both seen at their shared home on Thursday.
Despite the alleged domestic violence incident, Ally is swearing to her loved ones everything is fine. A source told Page Six on Friday:
“Ally has been telling friends she’s doing OK. She’s definitely safe and not in danger with James.”
We hope she is “safe” because the details in the police report is very concerning…
