Jamie Foxx Is A Proud Papa

Omg, thanks Corinne Foxx! You’re the best!

According to Jamie Foxx, we should all be thanking her, as it was his 16-year-old daughter who steered her daddy in the right direction with his music career. Jamie recalls an afternoon when he was first starting to get his album together and his daughter overhearING his jams. He explains:

“When I first started I was doing this little slow music, you know, just R&B … and my daughter walked in and said, ‘What you doing?’ I said, ‘I’m working on the album.’ She said, ‘I hope you don’t put that on there because you going to put everybody to sleep.'”

That’s when Corinne advised him to reach out to some younger artists to help him out. Cue Kanye West, Drake, Justin Timberlake and Ludacris, who all lent a hand to make his album sound great!

And it’s all thanks to his baby girl! So sweet.
