It’s amazing to know Jamie Lynn Spears‘ daughter with ex Casey Aldridge, Maddie, is on the mend!
Last we saw, the former TV star shared a pic of the eight-year-old looking happy on Valentine’s Day following her hospitalization after a terrifying ATV accident the week before!

And according to a source close to Spears’ baby daddy, the little one’s recovery was nothing short of a miracle. Speaking to People, the friend shared:
“No one knew until she woke up what was going to happen. The doctors did a lot of tests before she woke up, and it was encouraging, but still ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ no one knew for sure. Everyone was really worried because they didn’t know how bad the brain injury was. They didn’t know if she was going to recognize them or if she’d ever be the same.”
It’s hard to even imagine what that must have been like for Maddie’s loved ones!!
But the insider continued:
“When she woke up, they said that it was obvious that she recognized them all. Everybody was crying because it was such a miracle. Everyone knows this was a God thing. It could have gone either way; they almost lost her. But God wasn’t ready to take her back ├óΓé¼┬ª She’s getting stronger, and they have their Maddie back ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and that’s all that matters.”
What a relief!!
We can only hope Maddie continues to recover and regains all her strength!
