As she accepted her Impact Award, the first ever, the Rhythm Nation singer paid homage to her parents, including Joe Jackson, who we understand is in the final days of his battle with terminal cancer.
Janet said of her father, who eventually admitted in 2010 to physically abusing his children, that he “drove me to be the best that I can.”
