Super Bowl 50‘s halftime show is still causing quite the spectacle!
As the 111.9 million of you are probably aware, the game day performance by Coldplay, Beyoncé, and Bruno Mars was capped off with a montage of memorable halftime shows throughout the years.
But one of the biggest halftime shows in the past 20 years was notably left out!

Apparently, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake‘s infamous 2004 nip slip was too scandalous to include in the package.
But we weren’t the only one’s confused by the omission, because LaToya Jackson noticed her sister’s performance was left out of the tribute, posting to Twitter Sunday night, saying:
The energy of #SB50 #PepsiHalftime show was great! Beyoncé Coldplay and Bruno Mars!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
But what happened to Janet Jackson in the montage!

Janet’s halftime show was one of the most widely discussed live TV performances of all time — not to mention the legit musical cameos from Diddy, Nelly, and Kid Rock.
But just in case you forgot, her finale duet with JT to Rock Your Body concluded in a “wardrobe malfunction” that exposed her breast to millions of viewers at home. Whoops.

While that performance was left out of the montage, this year’s halftime show thankfully did include another nod to the Jackson family.
During the number, Bey was wearing a military-style jacket that paid homage to the late Michael Jackson‘s halftime show in 1993 — in which he wore a similar style wardrobe.
LaToya took notice of this tribute as well, sharing:
Loved Beyoncé at #PepsiHalftime inspired #MichaelJackson look! Great! #SB50 😊 pic.twitter.com/ZTlfT8CvJR
