Jared Leto wants to clear the air behind that meme!
In case you haven’t seen, the actor donned a green double-breasted coat along with pink pants to the London premiere of Suicide Squad on Wednesday night.
And while that’s perfectly exciting, he had the Internet going crazy when a picture of him sitting front row at Gucci‘s runway show back in June surfaced — because he’s looking at that same jacket in sheer awe!

BUT the 44-year-old has a perfectly good explanation for that!
Speaking to Vanity Fair on Thursday, Jared actually admitted the reality of this beautiful moment was totally different:
“The thing about the photo is├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I’m going to be honest with you├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I was actually making a face at someone across the runway. I have that feeling with most things [Gucci] makes because they make such beautiful things. But I was actually goofing off with a friend, and you can’t actually tell from the picture. Sorry to ruin your meme. Perception versus reality.”
So, it was just coincidence that he decided to don the same jacket less than two months later.
