The award-winning actor and Lupita Nyong’o have had quite a few run-ins during this award season. Even some supposed romantic ones here and there!
So, is Jared finally addressing the rumors? Kinda!
Before the Oscar winner won his shiny accolade on Sunday night, Jared accepted his award at the Independent Spirit Awards and thanked his ex-wife Lupita!
Yes, you read that correctly! Albeit he was joking, but still! What if that became real life?!
The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman got up on that stage to accept his award and gave thanks to Wayne Gretzky to, well, you’ll see, he said:
├óΓé¼┼ôIn case this is the last time I get to thank anyone, I wrote down a couple of names…all the women I have slept with and those who think they├óΓé¼Γäóve slept with me.├óΓé¼┬¥
The Dallas Buyers Club actor gave a slight pause before adding:
“And [to] my future ex-wife Lupita!”
Just how cute would these Oscar winners be together?! We ship it!!
Word is after Jared made that remark, Lupita smiled from her seat.
Playing coy, you two? You know what they say! There’s always a little bit of truth to every joke!
