As we previously reported, over the weekend Little Mix‘s Jade Thirlwall supposedly revealed that she and Jason Derulo were an item.
Unfortunately, the whole story was simply a misinterpreted joke as the British cutie has since shut down any romantic rumors.
On Monday, the Black Magic performer took to her band’s Twitter account to clarify that when she made comments about the Talk Dirty singer, she was simply kidding.

The 22-year-old posted:

Ah that’s a shame! Those two would’ve made SUCH an attractive couple.
Still, we also had our suspicions about the match since Jordin Sparks‘ ex had just collaborated with the girl group on a new single titled, Secret Love Song. LOLz!
Nonetheless, this update is good news for Nick Jonas who has previously expressed his soft spot for the Miz Thirlwall. Hey we’d totally be about that relationship too!
We guess we’ll just have to wait and see who the brunette beauty actually ends up dating in the long run.
