Jason Kelce says he knew from the moment Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift that this romance was “different” in the best way!

During an appearance on TNT’s The Steam Room podcast on Friday, the former NFL star opened up about his younger brother’s high-profile relationship, sharing:

“I remember the first time he said he was hanging out with her and I remember just being like, ‘Are you kidding me? You’re hanging out with Taylor Swift? Like, that’s insane. That’s awesome for you.'”

Especially considering Trav had told Jason about his dreams of meeting Tay at her Eras Tour — something he didn’t accomplish — we know how excited Jason must’ve been for him! But he quickly realized this was way bigger…

The former Eagles player expressed:

“You know, you meet a lot of people. I think this felt different.”

Kylie Kelce‘s husband went on to explain that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end just seemed way more serious about the singer-songwriter from the get-go than he’d been in past relationships, he explained:

“What also felt different was just the way he talks about her and talked about her from the moment he was with her. You could tell how much he really, really liked her right from the get-go, and just first impressions. And I think that the level early on in that was something that was very eye-opening to me when we first had discussions.”
