Aww! Such a family man!
Last night, Javier Bardem was awarded the Goya for Best Actor for his role in Biutiful. (FYI – The Goyas are Spain’s version of The Oscars.)
Anyway, when receiving his award, Javier made a lovely speech and thanked the most important people in his life – his wife Penelope Cruz and their newborn son! He graciously accepted the honor and said:
“I receive it as a warm hug and support from my colleagues, which is the most important for an actor. I dedicate it to my wife and son for awakening my heart and smile every day.”
And that, right there, is an award onto itself!
Congrats, Papa Javier! Well deserved indeed!
