Someone give JAY-Z a bat — because he’s about to go Lemonade on HIMSELF!
The rap titan’s new album 4:44 dropped early Friday morning, and Twitter is already exploding with enthusiastic reactions, reviews, and theories.
The most personal song on the 10-track album is the title track 4:44, which many have figured is Hov’s response to Beyonc├â┬⌐‘s revelations in Lemonade.
Along with mentioning Bey’s miscarriages and the recent birth of their twins, Jay puts himself on blast for cheating on his wife — and spends most of the song apologizing to her for his idiotic actions. He raps:
“And if my children knew / I don’t even know what I would do / If they ain’t look at me the same / I would probably die with all the shame / ‘You did what with who?’ / What good is a m├â┬⌐nage ├â┬á trois when you have a soulmate? / ‘You risked that for Blue?'”
We’re glad the rapper is owning up to his transgressions, though Jay is far from the first celeb to get publicly called out for cheating.
