Jay Z‘s newest tactic for trying to get you to join Tidal is├óΓé¼┬ª FOMO!
This weekend, the music mogul staged an exclusive “B-sides” concert for subscribers of his streaming service. Then, Beyonc├â┬⌐ and Nicki Minaj dropped a surprise music video for Feeling Myself for — you guessed it — Tidal users only!
But it doesn’t stop there! On Tuesday, the struggling music venture sent out an email to their users explaining that the first 500 subscribers would be offered a pair of free tickets to the Budweiser Made in America festival!

The tickets were quickly gobbled up by Tidal users who were grateful to attend the event that in the past included performers like Bey, Pharrell, and Kings of Leon!
Using giveaway incentives is a nice way to gain subscribers, but what’s an even MORE attractive to users is a free service — you know, like Spotify!
We’re not sure what Jay’s next move will be, but we hope he goes all Willy Wonka and gives away golden tickets so users can see just how Tidal makes that #HiFi sound!
