JAY-Z Flips The Tables! He's Suing Rape Accuser AND Her Lawyer, Says She Admitted She Lied!

The legal drama with JAY-Z isn’t done yet.

As you may recall, a woman sued the rapper and Diddy for allegedly raping her at an after-party for the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000 when she was 13 years old. JAY-Z vehemently denied the allegations, claiming this was all a “blackmail attempt.” He fought tooth and nail to get the case thrown out, and his efforts were successful last month. The accuser voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice, meaning she cannot refile it. So, their battle is over. Or so we thought.

According to Billboard, weeks later, JAY-Z filed a lawsuit in Alabama federal court against the rape accuser and her attorney Tony Buzbee on Monday — alleging she has admitted she lied about the accusations! The Roc Nation founder also claimed the two carried out an “evil conspiracy” and made “false and malicious” allegations to extort a settlement from him. His attorneys wrote in the complaint:

“Mr. Carter does not commence this action lightly. But the extortion and abuse of Mr. Carter by Doe and her lawyers must stop.”

His lawyers accused Tony and the woman of malicious prosecution, abuse of process, and civil conspiracy, alleging that they worked together to get money by abusing the court system to “assassinate the impeccable and lifetime-earned character of Shawn Corey Carter” with these “false” claims. They added:

“Defendants devised and executed their plan to accuse Mr. Carter of sexual assault and used national news and media outlets to disseminate the fabricated accusations to millions despite the falsity of the accusation. Defendants’ actions were willful and purposeful in order to maximize the reputational harm to Mr. Carter and induce Mr. Carter to pay them.”

The biggest bombshell accusation of all in this new lawsuit, though? JAY-Z alleged that the woman has “voluntarily admitted” to his team that she made up the allegations that he raped her and that Tony “pushed” her to make those allegations:

“Doe has now voluntarily admitted directly to representatives of Mr. Carter that the story brought before the world in court and on global television was just that: a false, malicious story. She has admitted that Mr. Carter did not assault her; and that indeed it was Buzbee himself … who pushed her to go forward with the false narrative of the assault by Mr. Carter in order to leverage a maximum payday.”

Hmm.

The complaint does not state when the accuser made this confession, but more on this matter in a second…

Since the lawsuit dismissal last month, JAY-Z claimed Tony’s extortion scheme hasn’t stopped. In the court documents, his lawyers alleged that the Grammy winner is facing new “extortionate threats” from Buzbee. According to the attorneys, Tony warned them last week that if they reveal the woman admitted the woman made false claims, they’ll say she was “harassed” by JAY-Z’s team and that she “dropped the lawsuit only because she was afraid for her life.” They added:

“Thus, the threats of extortion and further defamation continue to this day, necessitating that Mr. Carter take action to prevent unscrupulous actors from further preying on him.”

Well, Tony and the woman have clapped back, saying JAY’s claims are false! According to the pair, she never recanted her story to anyone! The attorney told Billboard that his team of investigators have “repeatedly harassed” and “threatened” the accuser to take back her story but she has refused every time:

“This case is baloney and has no legal merit. Shawn Carter’s investigators have repeatedly harassed, threatened and harangued this poor woman for weeks trying to intimidate her and make her recant her story. She won’t. Instead she has stated repeatedly she stands by her claims. These same group of investigators have been caught on tape offering to pay people to sue me and my firm. This is just another attempt to intimidate and bully this poor woman that we will deal with in due course.”

For her part, the woman doubled down on her allegations against JAY-Z and Diddy in new legal documents obtained by TMZ. She also claimed Beyoncé’s husband is trying to bully her into saying she lied about her claims. Per the court docs, the accuser alleged she was recently approached and cornered by two people outside her home. They allegedly said they were investigators for one of JAY-Z’s attorneys and wanted her to sign an affidavit stating the claims she made were false — but she refused.

The woman further alleged the investigators asked if Tony sought her out and offered her money to pursue the allegations against the Empire State Of Mind artist, which she denied. She claimed the encounter intimidated and terrified her, as she questioned how they found her when her identity remained anonymous throughout the legal proceedings. What further has her on edge? The woman also said her parents were approached by two investigators asking similar questions about Tony and her allegations.

In the filing, the woman shared that she only dropped the lawsuit against the two music moguls because she was scared of the reaction from JAY-Z and his supporters and worried she would be publicly outed and attacked. And sadly, it looks like some of her worst fears came true. Oof.
