Do it! Do it! Do it!
Jay-Z is launching the Made In America Music Festival this fall in Philadelphia … but he may not be the biggest name in attendance. The famous rapper told Rolling Stone magazine that he “absolutely” wants Barack Obama to at least make an appearance or even perform!
He knows the Prez can belt out a few tunes without breaking a sweat and he definitely fits the festival’s theme. Jay revealed to the mag:
“I’m gonna give him a call and I’m gonna try to get him to perform ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ do a little rendition of Al Green ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ but I doubt it. I think that opens up the political season. He’ll be so far into helping the world that he probably won’t have time, but I’m absolutely going to ask him.”
We’re sure Obama will be busy campaigning, but just one song on such a large stage would capture every young vote in attendance, that’s for sure!
Even if the POTUS can’t make the event, it sounds like there is a better chance that Beyonc├â┬⌐ will be there.
Jay said he purposely scheduled the event “far enough away that she’d have a little gap in her schedule, so hopefully that works.”
And hopefully we see a little husband and wife collaboration!
