Jenelle Evans is reportedly under investigation by Child Protective Services in Clark County, Nevada following that dramatic 911 call made earlier this month by her manager and purported boyfriend August Keen.
According to the US Sun, CPS in Las Vegas has become involved in an investigation into the Teen Mom 2 alum after what is being described as multiple incidents at school involving her 15-year-old son Jace and her 10-year-old son Kaiser. Per that outlet, CPS officials were informed in recent weeks of two separate incidents involving her sons at each of their respective schools in Sin City.

Per that outlet, whatever incident allegedly involves Kaiser was serious enough for the MTV star to abruptly send him to live with his paternal grandmother Doris Davidson in Tennessee. That would be the mother of Kaiser’s father, Jenelle’s ex Nathan Griffith. An insider explained:
“CPS is involved, and Jenelle doesn’t want any legal action against her, that’s partially why she suddenly sent Kaiser to his grandmother’s [house in Tennessee].”
Whatever the incident was — the US Sun cryptically reports that they have “chosen not to disclose the details” — Kaiser is apparently no longer allowed to attend his school. Hence the move to Tennessee.
Whoa.
And that move was apparently very abrupt. After the alleged school issue, CPS officials visited Jenelle’s Las Vegas rental home and left a card on her door, per the source:
“A CPS card was left on her door that she needed to call them because she wasn’t there. Within 72 hours of that card being left, she had Kaiser on the road. She didn’t tell him why, because she didn’t want him to say anything before she got him out of the state.”
That insider claims CPS officials in Vegas have also already been in touch with Davidson. And like we noted, a second insider claimed that Jace was involved in an incident at his school just a few weeks before the reported problems with Kaiser, too.
When asked by the outlet, a spokesperson for Clark County Child Protective Services refused to comment:
“Due to child confidentiality laws, we are unable to provide comment.”
Meanwhile, Doris did comment, saying:
“My job is to see that Kaiser is protected from all this negativity. Kaiser can now read and he doesn’t need to read negative things about his mother or father. I refuse to partake in mudslinging and measures to destroy one’s character, even if I disagree with their actions.”
Hmmm… That’s quite a cryptic last line there… And August commented, too! When asked about the alleged situation with Kaiser, he said:
“Well that’s completely not true lol.”
Uhhh okay!
The story goes even further than that, though. One source is now claiming that Griffith is living in a rehab community in Vegas nearby Jenelle. Meanwhile, most of the rest of his extended family still resides back in Tennessee near Doris. An insider explained that Doris is supposedly the key person here for Kaiser:
“Kaiser is really respectful to Doris, she doesn’t even have to raise her voice to him, so I think he’s probably better off there.”
And with the rest of Nathan’s extended family nearby, that should supposedly help the kid, too:
“His aunts and uncle are more strait-laced than Jenelle or his dad are, and their kids are around his age too. His cousins are very, very good kids, and Kaiser tends to act more respectful around them, and I think Nathan’s extended family will help Doris out a lot.”
A third insider then added:
“Say what you will about David, but he really did the parenting and anything Jenelle contributed with that was because he was an example for her.”
Wait, sorry, WHAT?! David as in… David Eason?? He “really did the parenting” in his now-former relationship with Jenelle?! Uhhh… seriously?? Yeah, we’re pretty skeptical about THAT.
Regardless, that third insider did claim that Kaiser being back in Tennessee with Doris means that “he’ll actually get taken care of and paid attention to” now.
Oof.
The first source added:
“I think, without Jenelle having the support of other people, even if they’re toxic, like David, she’s not able to handle the kids and everything that’s going on with them on her own. She’s really dependent on other people to help her take care of her problems.”
And they also pontificated on Kaiser supposedly being better off with Doris long-term, anyways:
“I can imagine that Doris is thinking ‘Well, he’s going to live with me. It’s going to be permanent.’ She’s not going to want to give him back. Kaiser has already been through so much. I feel so sorry for that kid. He’s never gotten to live a life of stability since he’s been so small.”
Yikes…
As for Jenelle, she actually spoke to Celebuzz about the situation and CONFIRMED that Kaiser was indeed living with Doris back in Tennessee! However, she claimed that he was there because her ex Nathan could “use some time with his son,” saying:
“The reason why I wanted Kaiser to be with his father is because Kaiser is at the age where it’s important for him and his father and his father’s family to spend time with one another. Kaiser loves Nathan’s family and Nathan can also use some time with his son.”
As the US Sun was quick to note, tho, multiple sources have told them that Nathan is NOT living in Tennessee, but rather is reportedly still in Las Vegas. Jeez!
