Jennifer Aniston is already a pro at Instagram!
As we reported, The Morning Show star literally broke the social platform when she made her IG debut by posting a cute selfie with her former Friends costars, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer this week.
The public was so obsessed with Jen’s first pic, the overwhelming traffic to her page made it temporarily crash: many who went searching for it only found a frustrating “Sorry, this page isn’t available.” Thankfully, the Insta-Gods have since rectified the problem — and it’s probably a good thing they did because her following continues to grow at a record-breaking pace!

According to reports, the 50-year-old broke the Guinness World Records title for the fastest time to reach one million IG followers in five hours and 16 minutes, dethroning Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the title!
For those who don’t know, the royal couple were the previous record holders when they launched their Instagram account in April and reached one million followers in five hours and 45 minutes. Other previous title holders include K-Pop star Kang Daniel and Pope Francis.
As of this writing, Jen has a cool 12 million (!!!) followers, and her numbers continue to grow. In the meantime, she’s already landed herself on the Comments by Celebs Instagram page by making one heck of a Friends reference.
When Bachelor star Kaitlyn Bristowe commented on her Friends selfie asking “ARE YOU AND ROSS STILL TOGETHER,” the actress replied, referencing one of the series’ biggest debates:
“well we’re on a break.”
Ha!
Needless to say, Aniston’s quip sent her followers into a tizzy — especially Bristowe, who captioned the screenshot of Aniston’s response and shared:
Other notable remarks in the deluge of comments came from Jen’s ex-husband Justin Theroux, who wrote a simple, “Woot-Woot [raised hand emoji] [heart emoji] #first,” and the actress’ The Morning Show costar Reese Witherspoon, who shared:
“YASSSS!!! Welcome to Insta Jen!!”
As she navigates a new world of hashtags and Insta Stories, Jen seems to have already discovered the best part of social media: free promo for your new Apple TV series!

The star shared her second post later Wednesday evening, referencing her IG-breaking debut with a clip from her new dramedy. She posted:
