Jennifer Garner couldn’t be happier now that she is married to Ben Affleck! The two have been with each other for nine years and have three kiddos together.

But before Elektra and Daredevil Batman fell in love, Jen was actually in a five-year relationship with actor Scott Foley!
The former Felicity co-stars met in 1998 and walked down the aisle only two years later. As happy as they may have looked, Jen ended up filing for divorce in 2003! Now, she’s opening up about her first failed marriage and how it went wrong. Jen admitted:
“We were full-on grown-ups, but looking back I’m aware we did not know what hit us. We didn’t have a shot. He’s a really good guy, and we just imploded.”
Just a few months after her split from Scott was finalized, Jennifer began dating Ben.
Don’t feel bad for Mr. Foley though! He wound up marrying actress Marika Domi├àΓÇ₧czyk! The two have a 3-year-old daughter together.
