Remember last year when Jennifer Lawrence was so sick with pneumonia that she barely got through award season?
Well, her American Hustle director David O. Russell does- and he blames The Hunger Games!
He says the franchise is working gurl too hard for her own good! He says:
“I personally think they should give her a bit of breathing room over there because they├óΓé¼Γäóre printing money.”
He’s right about that! After all, J.Law is the first female lead to win the year’s box office in four decades! According to a recent study, her value is much higher than her pay!
But it was David’s next comment that went a bit over the deep end! He said:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóll tell you what it is about that girl ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ talk about 12 years of slavery, that├óΓé¼Γäós what the franchise is. And I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to get in so much trouble for saying that.”
Yeah, we’re guessing he might! And not just from Hunger Games producers who don’t want him discouraging the film!
Critics are already voicing their outrage that he compared a movie star starring in movies to the horrors of slavery!
We’re all for J-Law getting a bigger piece of the Hunger pie, but that’s taking it a bit too far!
