Jennifer Lawrence, our beautiful Katniss, has some thoughts on what it is to be thin…
… and what it is to be too thin. And she’s looking at you, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan!
Here’s what she said:
“I remember when I was 13 and it was cool to pretend to have an eating disorder because there were rumors that Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie were anorexic. I thought it was crazy. I went home and told my mom, ‘Nobody’s eating bread — I just had to finish everyone’s burgers.’ [I am] so sick of these young girls with diets. . . I think it’s really important for girls to have people to look up to and to feel good about themselves.”
AGREED!!
And this is just another reason why we love you, Jennifer! You really do hold yourself accountable for how the younger generation could be looking up to you — and you could be helping a TON of girls along the way.
Especially when you become a household name after the Hunger Games!!
