Edward James Olmos, the famed Mexican-American actor, has SLAMMED J.Lo because he thinks that she isn’t Latina enough!
Say WHAAAAAT!?!?
The American Idol judge and Edward shared the screen in Selena, which was Jen’s breakout role and, according to Edward, the one that launched her:
“to a stardom that she would not have been able to reach without that film.”
But that’s not ALL he said! He continued to slam her, saying:
├óΓé¼┼ôI told her, ├óΓé¼╦£You have to understand that the future is in your hands, and I hope you use it not only to advance who you are but also to promote what we represent, as Latino women and men. Being Latino ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I love it. I love being Latino. It├óΓé¼Γäós a love that I have that comes from a deep sense of pride. She has done a lot of things, but she has not dedicated herself to her culture, and that is the most important thing to me.”
Yikes! Those are NOT kind words!
