How does someone just “forget” to pay at a restaurant?!
Last night, Jeremy Piven and some female friends enjoyed a nice meal in West Hollywood. After they were finished eating, they simply stood up and left the table to be on their way – without leaving any money for the check!
Now, we’re not saying that Jeremy is cheap or so egotistical that he would think his meal would be comped simply because he is a celebrity. No, no. We wouldn’t say that.
Would we say Jeremy looks a bit, um, “drowsy” and perhaps he forgot to pay the bill because he was bit “under the weather”? Yeah, we might venture to say that!
In an embarrassing twist, the waiter had to flag him down in the street and ask that he return to pay. Jeremy obliged, not looking all that concerned with the situation and that there were a dozen photogs catching it all on film.
He must’ve been feeling REALLY “drowsy” right about then.
