Hey, don’t stop till you get enough – but when is enough ENOUGH?!
Soon, the cast of The Jersey Shore will say “Ciao!” to Italy and return to Seaside Heights to film the fifth season of the show before the summer is out. However, before they committed to any of that, they had their lawyers renegotiate their contracts. Each and every single one of them wanted more money and they’d be damned if they didn’t get it!
We’re hearing that it was MTV’s original plan to shoot the new season under the terms of their Season 4 contracts, but the cast refused and so new papers were drawn up. The good news is that the majority of the cast is all re-signed and ready to go with the next season. As requested, they got more money, but how much more, we don’t know. We’re hearing it was significant, but not “HUGE.”
The big question is will this be the last season for the crew? We suppose it depends on how well their trip to Italy pans out with viewers. If people like it, they might get a season six where MTV sends them somewhere else in the world.
Oooh! Send them to Australia! That’d be interesting! A guido and a Aussie having a conversation? Their heads would explode from the accents! Lolz!
