MTV Canada might be forced to deprive Canadian viewers of Jersey Shore, Cribs, Downtown Girls, and Teen Mom next year.
The CRTC, Canada├óΓé¼Γäós TV policy-maker is questioning what Jersey Shore and the other shows have to do with MTV Canada├óΓé¼Γäós ├óΓé¼┼ôoriginal programming mandate to operate an all talk-show format.”
“After a review of your broadcast schedule, it would appear that several of your programs are not consistent with your nature of service, such as ‘Jersey Shore,’ ‘Cribs,’ ‘Downtown Girls’ and ‘Teen Mom,’├óΓé¼┬¥ said a representative from CRTC to MTV Canada.
Some suspect the only reason the CRTC is cracking down is because of Jersey Shore’s domination in ratings.
Don’t do it, Canada! The people of your country would be lost without Snooki!
