Whoa! Big new development in the story of Jessica Simpson‘s rumored divorce.
We’ve been getting hints for months that the Newlyweds alum was splitsville with hubby Eric Johnson. They were easy to brush off at first, but lately it’s been way too numerous to ignore. We’d be more surprised at this point if we learned the couple weren’t over!
With the recent report Jess had some friends setting up meetings for her with LA divorce lawyers, it feels like the marriage is all over but the paperwork. And now we may have the nail in the coffin, too!

On her Deux U podcast Thursday, DeuxMoi revealed she’s been hearing from her sources that the Dukes of Hazard star has moved on already! Deets are scarce for now, but she’s hearing solid info that Jessica is “seeing someone” else. And this guy “is an actor.” Huh. Really not much to go on. At least it eliminates John Mayer! He only wanted to be an actor! LOLz!
Deux actually mentioned a name on her podcast but edited it out — explaining later she’d gotten the wrong name. Hmm. That suggests to us this is not an A-lister as that would be a strange thing to get wrong if so.
But if we’re talking about Jessica freakin’ Simpson AND the guy is even remotely famous to boot, it’s only a matter of time before they’re spotted somewhere, right? If the report is to be believed…
