Jessica Simpson continues to be hilariously honest about the struggles of motherhood!
The mother-of-three took to Instagram on Thursday to share a snap of herself squeezing in a postpartum workout seven weeks after giving birth to her daughter, Birdie Mae.
The 38-year-old was shown (above) bent over and attempting to touch her toes while wearing an all-black workout ensemble of an oversized sweatshirt, leggings, and sneakers. Also, a rubber corset apparently.

She jokingly captioned the pic:
“Just stretching it out in my rubber corset. The joy of postpartum ?”
Ha! We’re sure every mom who has been on a mission lose the baby weight can relate!
Since giving birth, the songstress has been refreshingly candid about how hard it’s been adjusting to life as a mom of three — which, at the moment, she considers “more than a full-time job.”
She explained to People weeks after Birdie’s brith:
“Three is challenging. We are trying to get into the groove and make sure all three kids are getting equal attention … it’s more than a full-time job right now.”
Simpson welcomed her third child with husband Eric Johnson on March 19. The couple also has a sevel-year-old daughter Maxwell “Maxi” Drew and a five-year-old son Ace Knute.
Naturally, raising a newborn while parenting two other children has been quite chaotic for the former Newlyweds star at times, as she previously joked:
“The other night, all three kids were crying at the same time, so I just joined in! Ha!”
LOLz! If you can’t beat ‘em…
Despite all the stress it can bring, though, Jess couldn’t be happier about the newest addition to her family. She added:
“[Birdie] makes our family complete. Someone once told me to keep in mind that everything is a phase with infants and kids … trying to remember that fact and celebrate the small victories.”
Like squeezing into a rubber corset, for example.

Aside from taking care of three kiddos — not to mention, taking care of herself — the star has also been keeping busy prompting the relaunch of her “digital flagship store,” jessicasimpson.com. She said of the site:
“It’s an all-new place to shop, share my favorite things, and give you a look into my life as a wife, mom, businesswoman, entertainer, and friend! Thanks for joining me on this journey!”

Parental struggles aside, it sounds like Jess has never been more fulfilled!
